PAUL C. PULLEY

Paul Crichton Pulley, 36, of the 28000 block of Pulley Drive, succumbed in his fight against brain cancer Sept. 6, 1997.

Paul was a talented artist and musician and a graduate of Southampton Academy and Averett College. He also studied Fine Arts as a graduate student at UNC-Greensboro. His artwork was displayed on many occasions in the area.

He is survived by his parents, C. Graham and Clyde C. Pulley of Courtland; two brothers, Collin G. Pulley Jr. and his wife, Judy, of Courtland and Jonathan O. Pulley and his wife, Amy, of Apex, N.C. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Junius W. Pulley Sr. and Mayab O. Pulley, and his maternal grandparents, Fletcher B. Crichton and Forrest W. Crichton.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in Riverside Cemetery with the Rev. Donald Williams, In-Home Health Hospice chaplain, officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be sent to Rawls Museum Arts, 22376 Linden St., Courtland Va. 23837. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, is in charge of arrangements.
