Diane Spivey Haynes, 35, of the 700 block of Hampshire Lane, died Sept. 7, 1997, in Chesapeake.
Born in Norfolk, she was a secretary at Stan's Mufflers and Brakes in Chesapeake.
Survivors include her daughters, Tara Alavi of Virginia Beach, Linda Haynes and Cheryl Haynes, both of Norfolk; a son, James A. Haynes VI of Virginia Beach; mother, Sadie Cooke Spivey of Norfolk; three sisters, Sally Osborne of Norfolk, Linda Harlow of West Point, Va., Gerrie Stakes of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Thomas E. Spivey Jr. and Jeff Richardson, both of Norfolk; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Thomas Edward Spivey Sr.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Calvary Temple by the Rev. Lamar Sentell. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park.
