ANNIE C. BERRY

Annie Mildred Cuthrell Berry, 81, of Route 1, and most recently a patient at Cross Creek Health Care Center, died Monday, Sept. 8, 1997.

Born in Hyde County, Oct. 13, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Annie Blake Cuthrell. She was the widow of Otiva Walter Berry, who died in 1980. She was a member of Engelhard Christian Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Emma B. Wright of Fairfield, Julia Berry of Virginia Beach, and Jane B. Gibbs of Route 1, Fairfield; a brother, Ivey Cuthrell of Wilmington; two sisters, Delma Cason of Chesapeake and Thelma Fowler of Roanoke Rapids; 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Berry was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann B. Gibbs; brothers, Harvey Cuthrell, Duville Cuthrell and Leslie Cuthrell; and sisters, Selma Mason, Lillian Rose and Alene Cason.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the family plot in Fulford Cemetery, Engelhard. Phil Emmert will officiate.

Flowers are acceptable, or memorials may be directed to Hydeland Home Health Agency, P.O. Box 100, Swan Quarter, N.C. 27885.

Friends may visit with the family from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Bryan Funeral Service, Swan Quarter, and at other times at the home of Lefty and Jane Gibbs, Route 1, Fairfield. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
