Gene ``Gino'' Barberi, 82, died Monday, Sept. 8, 1997.
A native of Cicero, Ill., he was a superintendent for Electro-Motive and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Escondido, Calif. He was the widower of Yolanda Frances Barberi.
He is survived by his daughter, Jean Delores Sacchi and her husband, Fred of La Grange Park, Ill.; a son, Philip Barberi and his wife, Sharon of Chesapeake; a sister, Rena Palleva of Woodridge, Ill.; five grandchildren, Sharon Sacchi, Glenn Sacchi, Scott Sacchi, Theresa Barberi and Emily Barberi.
The family will receive friends in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland, from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday. He will be sent to McLeon Mortuary, Escondido, for a funeral in St. Mary's Catholic Church and burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
