LESLIE P. ROBERTSON

Leslie Joan Pendleton Robertson, 35, of 1330-A Credle Road, 23454, mother of Courtney, Brittany and William D. III, and wife of William D. Robertson Jr., died Sept. 9, 1997, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer.

Born Dec. 15, 1961, in Norfolk, Leslie loved all children and will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Leslie loved skiing and watching storms, but her biggest fulfillment was raising her children in a home full of warmth and love.

In addition to her husband and children, she is survived by her parents, Glenn and Marianna of Norfolk; grandmother, Hazel P. McCrum of Gorham, Maine; sisters, Pammela P. Moseley of Fort Myers, Fla., Karla P. Paynter of Chesapeake, Heather P. Garner of Knotts Island, N.C.; brothers, David L. Pendleton of Modesto, Calif., Greg D. Pendleton of Norfolk and Shawn C. Pendleton of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth R. Kiser of Radford, Va.

Leslie will be missed by her many friends and family.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Eastern Shore Chapel, 2020 Laskin Road, by the Rev. Mark Delcuze. After the memorial service, the family will receive friends in the Parish Hall. Burial will be private at a later date.
