ANTHONY J. CONOSCIENTI

Anthony James Conoscienti, 86, of the 6000 block of Capital Place, died Sept. 8, 1997, in a local nursing home.

Mr. Conoscienti was a native of New York City, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, Joseph Conoscienti of Atlanta, Ga.; five daughters, Lucy Galiano of Lodi, N.J., Irene Martin of Portland, Ind., Helene Blevins of Virginia Beach, Diane Phillips of Virginia Beach, and Rosemarie Czysczon of Newark, Del.; two sisters, Elizabeth Schaffer of New Jersey and Ann Delaney of California; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, with a Christian wake service at 6 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church by Fr. John Peck O.S.B. Interment will follow in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
