MYRA SEAY

Myra Seay died Sept. 10, 1997, in a local nursing home.

Born in Charlotte, N.C., she was a local artist. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Virginia Beach and a Sunday school teacher. She was also a charter member of the Cape Henry Women's Club, one of the founding organizers of the Virginia Beach Boardwalk Art Show, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Princess Anne Women's Club.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth L. Seay of Virginia Beach; four sons, Kenneth L. Seay Jr. of Basye, Va., Gary W. Seay of Eastern Shore, Jerry C. Seay of Virginia Beach, and Mark J. Seay of Norfolk; a brother, James Lee Williams Jr. of Norfolk; two granddaughters, Dawn Seay and Mariah Seay; and a grandson, Christen Seay.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. James Rittenhouse. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today in the funeral home. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
