OTIS T. WRIGHT SR.

Otis Theodore Wright Sr., 78, of the 300 block of Taft Drive, died Sept. 8, 1997.

He retired as a fork lift operator after 29 years with Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, a member of Third Baptist Church, and the Andrews Brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Francis Wright; four daughters, Shirley Townes, Lois Smith, Valerie Anthony and Regina Wright; a son, Otis T. Wright Jr.; a sister, Alma Butts, a brother, McGuire Wright; 23 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two stepsons, Mark Hite and Barry Hite; two stepdaughters, Erliene McCoy and Selease Richardson; several nieces and other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Third Baptist Church by the Rev. Joe B. Fleming. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
