DAVID O. EAGLE

David O. Eagle, 84, died Sept. 8, 1997, in Virginia Beach.

Born in Appomattox, Va., he was a carpenter for Emory & Richards, a Methodist, and a member of Carpenter Brotherhood Local No. 613.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma C. Eagle of Norfolk; a stepson, Alvin P. Callahan of Harriman, Tenn.; a son-in-law, Henry H. Ore Sr. of Suffolk; three sisters, Louise Phelps of Concord, Va., Mary Bohannon of Appomattox, and Alice Sales of Madison Heights, Va.; five brothers, Lyle Eagle, Junior Eagle and Bobby Eagle, all of Appomattox, and Angelo Eagle and Wylie Eagle of Lynchburg; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
