SUFFOLK CRASH VICTIM WAS PORTSMOUTH MAN

A man who died Tuesday after a crash on Main Street has been identified as Louis G. Miller of the 3400 block of Wheatfield Road in Portsmouth.

Miller, 73, apparently suffered a heart attack while driving on Western Avenue and nearing a stop sign at Main, police said. His car, a 1989 Lincoln, struck the bumper of a southbound van on Main, then smashed into a utility pole and telephone box on the other side of the street.

A passenger in Miller's car was treated at Obici Hospital and released Tuesday night, a hospital spokeswoman said.
