Lists of property crimes and robberies are provided to The Clipper by Chesapeake Police. They include the address at which the crime occurred, the missing items and the approximate date. For robberies, a description of suspects also is provided.

BUTTS ROAD BOROUGH

(The rural southeast section)

Grand larceny, 1000 block of Priscilla Lane. Missing: a set of Dynacraft golf clubs, a pair golf shoes and various golf items. Aug. 17-18.

Grand larceny, 800 block of Joann Circle. Missing: Motorola cell phone, 65 assorted compact discs and $100. Aug. 23.

DEEP CREEK BOROUGH

Grand larceny, 900 block of Willis St. Missing: generator. Aug. 9-18.

Petty larceny, 3100 block of Old Mill Road. Missing: tool set and various change. Aug. 17-18.

Petty larceny, 1200 block of Jackson Ave. Missing: a box speaker. Aug. 19.

Grand larceny, 2900 block of Parkside Drive. Missing: 1996 Honda Civic, blue, Virginia license No. TONYCOB. Aug. 17.

Residential burglary, 1200 block of S. Battlefield Blvd. Missing: Honda dirt bike, serial No. JH2ME050XTK001345. Aug. 18-19.

Commercial burglary, 600 block of 22nd St., D.D. Jones. Missing: Westinghouse air conditioners. Aug. 19.

Petty larceny, 600 block of Wilson Road, Professional Food System. Missing: two boxes of Gwaltney buffet hams and two boxes of Gwaltney salt pork. Aug. 19.

Strong-armed robbery, 1300 block of Algona St. The victim, a pizza delivery driver, arrived at the address when the resident advised that he didn't order a pizza. The victim was about to walk out the gate when he was approached by a black male wearing a mask and pointing a gun. The suspect demanded the pizza and his money. Description of suspect: black male, 5-foot-8, 150 pounds, wearing gray pants and gray sweat shirt. Aug. 20.

Residential burglary, 2900 block of Candlewood Circle. Missing: currency. Aug. 20.

Residential burglary, 1600 block of Hines Ave. Missing: Fisher television, Fisher stereo, Fisher videocassette recorder, Magnavox television and Fisher combination television and VCR. Aug. 21.

Strong-armed robbery on Acorn Avenue and Broad St. Victim was approached by a male who pushed him off of his bicycle. The suspect punched the victim in the face and said the bicycle was his and rode off with the victim's bike. Aug. 23.

Residential burglary, 1100 block of Holly Ave. Missing: two VCRs, computer, Sony Play Station, assorted jewelry valued at $10,000. Aug. 15-23.

Grand larceny, 1200 block of Ohio St. Missing: 1996 Jeep Cherokee, black, Virginia license plates ZNX6297. Aug. 22-23.

WASHINGTON BOROUGH

(Including Indian River and Greenbrier)

Strong-armed robbery, 2200 block of Logans Mill Trail. Victim was sitting in passenger seat of vehicle when she was approached by five females. One suspect stopped the driver from driving off while four suspects assaulted the victim. All suspects are known to the victim. Suspects are described as black females, 16-18 years old, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8, brown eyes. Suspects left driving a blue Chevy Lumina van. Aug. 17.

Petty larceny, 1100 block of Killington Arch. Missing: city sticker. Aug. 17.

Grand larceny, 1800 block of Greenbrier Parkway, Parkway Isuzu. Missing: AM/FM compact disc player. Aug. 18-19.

Grand larceny, 1400 block of Greenbrier Parkway. Missing: Pioneer radio. Aug. 19.

Residential burglary, 2100 block of Paramont Ave. Missing: Kawasaki dirt bike. Aug. 18-20.

Commercial burglary, 800 Greenbrier Circle, Newell Lawn Service. Missing: Lescoe spreader, HCA pole pruner, drill, wheel barrow, saw, drill with bits, Allied impact set, two Echo power blowers, four Echo weedeaters and tool kits. Aug. 20.

Grand larceny, 1100 block of S. Military Highway. Missing: Kenwood amplifier, J&L speakers and speaker box. Aug. 20.

Grand larceny, 600 Jarman Road. Missing: Alpine stereo and Motorola cellular telephone Aug. 20.

Grand larceny, 600 block of Jarman Road. Missing: Pioneer radio. Aug. 20.

Residential burglary, 700 block of Bloom Ave. Missing: Panasonic television, television, Sega Genesis video game, antique telephone, black panther statue and black statue of a woman. Aug. 1-19.

Grand larceny, 1300 block of Volvo

Parkway. Missing: Coach briefcase, Hewlett-Packard calculator, Waterman ball-point pen, Waterman fountain pen, leather pen holder and Coach hand-ink blotter. Aug. 21.

Armed robbery, 1500 block of Laurel Ave. Victim was approached by two male juveniles. One of the suspects ordered the victim to get off of his bicycle. When the victim refused, one of the suspects produced a knife. Both suspects fled with victim's bicycle. Aug. 22.

WESTERN BRANCH BOROUGH

(Suburban area west of Portsmouth)

Armed robbery, 2800 block of Greenview Drive. Victims were on Greenview Drive when a dark shiny car stopped and a black male got out on the passenger's side with a handgun and demanded money. The victims advised that they didn't have any money and the suspect took a pack of cigarettes from one of the victims. Victims didn't get a look at the driver, but the passenger is described as: black male, 5-foot-5, 125 pounds, black hair, brown eyes and wearing a Polo shirt and baggy jeans. Aug. 16.

Strong-armed robbery, Woodbaugh Drive. Victim was riding his bicycle when a known suspect and six other white males stopped him and began assaulting him. The suspect attempted to take the victim's bicycle, wallet and sunglasses. They only got a pair of white frame Oakley sunglasses. The known suspect is described as: a white male, 6-foot-2, about 18 years old with black hair. Aug. 17.

Residential burglary, 4100 block of Sorrento Drive. Missing: metal box, a pair of pruning shears, wallet, two credit cards and currency. Aug. 15-16.

Grand larceny, 4100 block of Sorrento Drive. Missing: 1991 Chevrolet, S-10 pickup, burgundy, Virginia license No. TUK-512. Aug. 15-16.

Residential burglary, 1900 block of Ames Circle West. Missing: wallet. Aug. 19.

Grand larceny, 3100 block of Churchland Blvd. Missing: 1997 Honda Accord, red, Virginia license plates No. ZGN-7424. Aug. 20.

Armed robbery, 3300 block of Dunedin Drive, Dunedin Park. Missing: The victims were in the park when they were approached by two black males brandishing firearms. The suspects ordered the victims to get face-down on the ground. One suspect searched each victim while the other suspect stood guard. Suspects took money, keys and driver's license from the victim. Both suspects are described as black males, wearing black hooded shirts, black pants and timberland boots. Aug. 21.

Grand larceny, 4000 block of Condor Drive. Missing: Case Logic cassette case containing 60 cassette tapes. Aug. 16.

Petty larceny, 4700 block of W. Military Highway, Frank's Truck Stop. Missing: cellular phone with leather case. Aug. 16.

Residential burglary, 4400 block of of Taylor Road. Missing: five hand-held portable radios. Aug. 22-23.

Residential burglary, 2400 block of of Drum Creek Road. Missing: Die-cast metal racing car and Match Box racing cars. Aug. 23.

Commercial burglary, 4200 block of Portsmouth Blvd., Amazing Comics of Virginia. Missing: $100. Aug. 24.

Commercial burglary, 4200 block of Portsmouth Blvd., New York Carpet. Missing: five Crestar Bank money bags and $15. Aug. 23-25.
