Percy ``Pete'' Jefferson of the 1200 block of Cool Brook Trail died Sept. 9, 1997.
Mr. Jefferson was a machine operator for Chesapeake Hardwood Product Co., Chesapeake. A native of Norfolk County, Va., he was a member of Willow Grove Baptist Church, Chesapeake, and an Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Jefferson; a son, Tony Jefferson of Virginia Beach; father, Williby Jefferson of Chesapeake; two sisters, Stella Smith and Tracee Anderson of Chesapeake; four brothers, Joseph Mills, Willie Mills, Barron Jefferson and Michael Jefferson of Chesapeake; and two grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Willow Grove Baptist Church, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Kevin White. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A family wake will be held in Fitchett Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. ILLUSTRATION: Photo KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY DEATH OBITUARY
