Ethel M. Fisher, 87, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 1997, in her home. She resided with her daughter.
Mrs. Fisher was born in Montgomery County, Md. She was Baptist and the widow of Edward L. Fisher Jr.
Survivors include two sons, Clyde F. Thompson of Maryland and Edward S. Fisher of Norfolk; two daughters, Winnie Smouse and Del Grindle, both of Virginia Beach; a brother, George S. Smith of West Virginia; a sister, Eva R. LeBella of New Jersey; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and relatives.
A small private service will be held. The family will receive friends at her home between 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers contributions to CANDII House or Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters would be appreciated. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
