Mrs. Martha (Marty) Riddick Wilhelm, 61, of the 100 block of Tynch Town Road, formerly of Weeksville, N.C., died Thursday, Sept. 11, 1997, in Albemarle Hospital.
A native of Washington County, Mrs. Wilhelm was a daughter of the late Ellis Linwood and Neva Davenport Riddick and the wife of Mr. Paul M. Wilhelm. Mrs. Wilhelm had retired from the Coast Guard Base, Elizabeth City.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Lillian ``Dodie'' Evans of Edenton, Mary Kathryn Saho of Louisville, Ky.; a son, Conrad Allen Mollenkopf of Elizabeth City; two sisters, Mary Austin of Mobile, Ala., Kathleen Harrell Eubanks of Elizabeth City; two brothers, Linwood Earl Riddick of Columbus, Ga., Thurman Leroy Riddick of Palaka, Fla.; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a sister, Rachel Woolard.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Open Door Baptist Church by the Rev. Gary Williams. Burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, Edenton, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
