Willie Lee Griffin, of the 1900 block of Mill Landing Road, died Sept. 11, 1997.
Born in Princess Anne County, he was a member of Little Piney Grove Baptist Church, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce L. Griffin; five daughters, Ione Price, Sharon Riddick, Rennie Barnett, Lorrie Foreman, Rita Phillips, all of Virginia Beach; a son, Roy Jones of Virginia Beach; mother, Nettei G. Mitchell of Virginia Beach; a sister, Rosa Henderson of Virginia Beach; three brothers, Melvin Griffin, Kermit Mitchell and Stanley Mitchell, all of Virginia Beach; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Little Piney Grove Baptist Church, Creeds, Virginia Beach. Community Funeral Home, Virginia Beach, is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
