Percy E. Ranger, 83, died Sept. 11, 1997, in his home.
Born in Montreal, Canada, he was the widower of Bertha L. Ranger and a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. He retired as a superintendent and officer of Walker LaBerge Glass Co.
Survivors include a daughter, Claudette Rezas and her husband, Peter, of Norfolk; three sons, Claude Ranger and his wife, Betty, of Norfolk, Pierre Ranger and his wife, Sarita Nery, of Chesapeake, Michael Ranger and his wife, Karen, of Chesapeake; two brothers, Roland Ranger of Montreal, Marcel Ranger of River Beaudette, Canada; a sister, Dora Loyer of Montreal; seven grandchildren, Anthony, Paul, Mark, Peter Jr., Danielle, Michelle, Jessica; three great-grandchildren, Megan, Joshua, Vincent; many close and special friends and family, locally and in Montreal.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in Christ the King Catholic Church by Fr. Brian Rafferty. Entombment in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
