William W. ``Pete'' Harris, 73, of the 2200 block of Rodgers St., died Sept. 13, 1997, in Norfolk.
He was born in South Norfolk and was a Baptist. He had retired from Hapag-Lloyd America Inc.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth L. Harris; two daughters, Melanie Harris Smith and Robin H. Curling; and a son, William Scott Harris, all of Chesapeake; a brother, Dr. Edward Harris of Virginia Beach; and three grandchildren, Josh Curling, Katie Curling and Cecilia Hale, all of Chesapeake.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk, by the Rev. Frank Hughes. The family will be at Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
