JAMES T. SMITH JR.

James Thomas Smith Jr., 67, of the 200 block of 24th St., died Saturday, Sept. 13, 1997, in a Virginia Beach hospital.

A native of Nansemond County, he was retired as a moving and storage company manager. He was an Army veteran of Korea.

Survivors include two sisters, Jean Elizabeth Smith and Mary S. Underwood, both of Portsmouth; and a brother, Robert Smith of Richmond.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Kenneth Thames. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
