Nancy Fowler Hall, 86, of 1212 Bluebird Drive died Sept. 15, 1997, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.

Mrs. Hall was a member of Virginia Beach United Methodist Church and participated in the Service Guild for many years, and was a volunteer of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Virginia Beach Fire Dept. She and her husband were also members of the Seaside Mountaineers National Campers and Hikers Association.

She is survived by her husband, William B. Hall Sr.; her daughter, Ruth Dianne Hall; her sons, Thomas L. Hall and William B. Hall Jr., all of Virginia Beach; her sister, Sarah Newcomb of Henderson, N.C.; her nephews, Dr. W.L. Bell and his wife, Renee, and Robert Bell and his wife, Sue; four granddaughters, Brenda Hall Kessler, Linda Hall Smith, Debra Hall Warleigh, Donna Hall Zabel; as well as seven great-grandchildren and many beloved friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, in Virginia Beach United Methodist Church, located at 19th St. and Pacific Ave., by the Rev. David V. Ford. Private burial will take place at a later date. Flowers will not be accepted, but memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 945, Virginia Beach, Va. 23451, or the American Heart Association, Tidewater Council, 360 Southport Circle, Suite 104, Virginia Beach, Va. 23452.
