CORNELIA M. BRITTAIN

Cornelia Miller Brittain, 96, died Sept. 11, 1997, in Parson's Nursing Home.

She was the widow of Frank R. Brittain and the daughter of the late Cmdr. Julian Taylor Miller, M.D., and Mrs. Edith E. Miller. She was born in Alexandria, Va., and lived in Portsmouth all of her life. She was a lifelong member of St. John's Episcopal Church.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Bettie and Dennis Forner, and a granddaughter, Bettie A. Forner.

She will be buried in Loudon County. The funeral will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Portsmouth Humane Society. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
