Jeanne Hawley Parkins died Sept. 13, 1997.
She was the wife of Charles Curry Parkins for 54 years. She is also survived by a daughter, Connie Parkins Duke of Apollo Beach, Fla.; a son, Charles C. Parkins Jr. and his wife, Debbie Goodwin Parkins, of Mount Crawford, Va.; three grandchildren, Kelly Duke, Charles C. Parkins III, Cliford L. Parkins; a brother, H.D. Hawley of Greensboro, N.C.; and two nephews and their families.
She will be cremated at her request. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Jefferson Center Foundation, P.O. Box 8657, Roanoke, Va. 24014. Kyger and Trobaugh Funeral Home, Harrisonburg, Va., is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
