MILDRED L. PAGE

Mildred L. Page of the 3300 block of Loam St. died Sept. 14, 1997.

She was born in Baltimore, Md., the daughter of the late James and Marsieleona Rousby. A member of Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, she was a member of the choir for 37 years and also a member of the deaconess board. She was a former member of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her husband of 73 years, William H. Page Sr.; two daughters, Mildred P. Love of Detroit, Mich. and Virgie Page-Fisher of Richardson, Texas; a sister, Dorothy Lockhart of Norfolk; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends, among them Mrs. Ruth Patterson and Reginald Spratley. She was predeceased by her son, William H. Page Jr.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, 1057 Kennedy St., Norfolk, by the Rev. Byron Collins. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
