Elizabeth Meeks Gerbut died Sept. 15, 1997, in a local hospital.
Born on Jan. 21, 1913, in Greenville, N.C., she had resided in Norfolk and in Virginia Beach since March 1944. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Gerbut.
Survivors include one daughter, Betty Flor and a granddaughter, Michelle Flor, both of Virginia Beach; and a host of other relatives and close friends.
Family and friends are welcome to come visit from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Rosewood Memorial Park by Dr. G. Keith Almond. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
