Betty Louise Stokley, 62, of the 4900 block of Jeanne St., died Sept. 15, 1997, in a Virginia Beach hospital. She was a native of Norfolk.
Survivors include her husband, George R. Stokley; a daughter, Lynne R. Christensen of Virginia Beach; a son, Frederick G. Stokley of Portsmouth; and a granddaughter, Summer Gabrielle Christensen.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Collinswood Baptist Church by the Rev. Jack Stallings. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, today from 7:30 to 9 p.m. and other times at 8 Catawba Trail, Portsmouth.
