Doris Knight Barek, 78, died Sept. 15, 1997, in her home.
Born in Hazelhurst, she was the widow of Walter P. Barek.
Survivors include her mother, Nellie Knight of Virginia Beach; several nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Fr. Edward Richardson. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
