Willie Thomas ``Tinee Bug'' Barnes Sr., 67, of the 2000 block of King St., died Sept. 16, 1997, in a local hospital.
Born in Newsoms, Va., he was a retired cement mason.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Mae Barnes; four daughters, Delores Dupree of Manning, S.C., Gloria Hodges of East Orange, N.J., Carolyn Wyatt and Brenda Barnes, both of Portsmouth; four sons, Roy Smith of Homestead, Fla., Willie T. Barnes Jr. of Panama City, Fla., John Smith and Danny Barnes, both of Portsmouth; three sisters, Pearl Riddick, Geneva Barnes and Reba Rose; 22 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; an aunt, Helen Malone; and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Third Baptist Church by the Rev. Joe B. Fleming. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Photo KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
