Larry L. Simms, born April 18, 1931, died in a Virginia Beach hospital on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 1997.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine A. Simms; five sons, Bobby J. Simms, Terry L. Simms, Lester L. Simms, Larry L. Simms of New Jersey and Larry L. Simms Jr. of Norfolk; a daughter, Nancy L. Weaver and four stepchildren, Elizabeth P. Harris, Mary K. Johnson, Teresa F. Miller and Patricia A. Gibbard; also, 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
