Annie M. Wilkins, 87, of Hobson St., died Sept. 16, 1997, in Beverly Manor of Portsmouth.
Born in Portsmouth, she was the widow of Clarence ``Gus'' Wilkins. An active member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church, she was a member of the Missionary Society and former president for 30 years.
Survivors include her son, Ronald Wilkins of Portsmouth; four grandchildren, Ronda, Jonathan, Ronald and Nuja; and two great-grandchildren, Aja and Claude Jr.
A funeral will be conducted at 5 p.m. today in Corprew Funeral Home Chapel, Portsmouth, by the Rev. E.T. Knight. The body will be cremated after the funeral service. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 4:45 p.m. for the service. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
