ANNIE L. HALL

Annie Lane Hall, 71, of the 2600 block of Benefit Road died Friday morning Sept. 19, 1997, at her residence.

Mrs. Hall was born in the South Norfolk section of Chesapeake and was the daughter of the late Willie Hardison Clifton and Hilda Leary Gibbs. She was also the widow of Horace G. Lane and was a member of Lake Drummond Baptist Church, Chesapeake.

Survivors include her husband, Willie C. Hall of Chesapeake; her two daughters, Marian C. Case of Chesapeake, Linda L. Ewing of Portsmouth; her son, James H. Lane of Chesapeake; two sisters, Lucretia Powers and Delores Dickerson, both of Chesapeake; three brothers, Robert Clifton of Jacksonville, Fla., Charles Gibbs of Boone, N.C., Wayne Gibbs of Chesapeake; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, by the Rev. Frank Hughes. Burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. Viewing will begin Sunday with the family receiving friends at the funeral home from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
