MARY C. MAROIS

Mary Frances Creekmore Marois, 81, of the 4800 block of Lake Drive died Sept.19, 1997, in a Virginia Beach hospital.

Born in Norfolk, she was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She received the Fire and Rescue Meritorious Award for the Chesapeake Beach Fire Department for 20 years.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Virginia Farmer of Virginia Beach; a brother, Paul Creekmore of Virginia Beach; four granddaughters, Elizabeth Marietta Marston and Laureen Frances Farmer, both of Virginia Beach, Cynthia Salemi of Florida, Melany Kirkpatrick of Florida; a grandson, Thomas W. Marois II of Gloucester, Va.; eight nieces and nephews and 17 great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford Thomas Marois, and son, Thomas William Marois.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
