Charles F. Somerville, 79, of the 4100 block of Jennifer Crest, died Friday, Sept. 19, 1997, in a local nursing home.
Mr. Somerville was retired as a pipefitter from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was a devoted member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses for 50 years.
Survivors include his loving wife, Saundra J. Somerville; a daughter, Lydia Michell Somerville of Chesapeake; also, a loving mother-in-law, Casteen Rodgers; and many other loving brothers and sisters-in-law.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2009 Broadmoor Ave., Chesapeake, with Brother Andrew Jones officiating. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
