JAMES R. FRAZIER

James Robert Frazier, 84, of the 700 block of Dunedin Road, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 1997, in his residence.

A native of Charlotte, N.C., he had retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Shop 51, as an electrician. He was a Methodist and member of Portsmouth Moose Lodge (NU)898, Legion of the Moose (NU)199, NARFE and AARP.

Survivors include his wife, Ella L. ``Polly'' Frazier; two daughters, Linda Allred of Virginia Beach and Ginger Bondoc of Gaithersburg, Md.; five sons, Rick Frazier of Pinetop, N.C., Bob Frazier and Willie Frazier of Portsmouth, Tommy Frazier and Larry Frazier of Chesapeake; a brother, Carl B. Frazier of Norfolk; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by Bob Frazier. The family will receive friends at his residence and suggest, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Maryview Wellspring Hospice Program, 3636 High St., Portsmouth, Va. 23707.
