ELIZABETH J. TWIDDY

Elizabeth Jane Twiddy, 72, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 1997, in Chesapeake General Hospital.

She was born in Plymouth, Pa., and was the daughter of the late Charles and Hazel Booth Fox. Mrs. Twiddy was a homemaker and pastor's wife. She served in the Womans Army Air Force during World War II. She was a former member of the Missionary Holiness Church, Chesapeake, where she was very active in the church ministry, and a member of East Lake Holiness Church, East Lake, N.C.

Mrs. Twiddy was preceded in death by a son, Charles Lloyd Twiddy, who died in 1963 at the age of 10.

Survivors include her beloved husband, the Rev. Calvin G. Twiddy of Manns Harbor, N.C.; her beloved daughter, Janet Lynn Styron and her husband, Ralph Styron, both of Virginia Beach; her beloved son, Glenn Twiddy of Manteo, N.C.; her beloved grandchildren, Ralph Andrew Styron III, Ryan Styron and his wife, Tina, Leslie Styron and Kyle Styron, all of Virginia Beach; her beloved great-grandchild, Rebecca Styron of Virginia Beach; and sisters, Doris McCutchen of Wilkes Barre, Pa., and Joan Shaffer of Upper Marlboro, Md.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk, by the Rev. Tom Grinder. The family will receive friends at the Missionary Holiness Church, 521 Johnstown Road, Chesapeake, after the service.
