William A. ``Bill'' Barry Jr., 69, died Sept. 21, 1997, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Born in Norfolk, he was the owner and operator of Bill's Flea Market, Virginia Beach. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy B. Barry; a daughter, Stella Anne Barry of Virginia Beach; a stepdaughter, Deborah Thompson of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two sons, Timothy Ryan Barry and William A. Barry III of Virginia Beach; a stepson, Michael R. Thompson of Atlanta, Ga.; four sisters, Marjorie Staley of Norfolk, Betty Seidel and Paula Curtis, both of Virginia Beach, Carole Flowers of Norfolk; a brother, Benny Barry of Norfolk; and eight grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel by Father John J. Dorgan. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Christian Action, 5920 Poplar Hall Drive, Norfolk, Va. 23502.
