John Robert ``Bobby'' Warren, 54, of the 300 block of Sunshine Lane died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 1997.
A native of Isle of Wight County, he was a truck driver in the circulation department of the Daily Press with 11 years of service. He was also a truck driver for S.W. Rawls, Oil Division, Smithfield, and was United Methodist.
Survivors include a daughter, Wanda Michelle Warren of Portsmouth; three sons, Jonathan Eric Warren of Smithfield, Robert Michael Warren of Chesapeake, Steven Brian Warren of Portsmouth; two sisters, Doris W. Council of Smithfield, Ruby W. Ayers of Carrollton; and a grandson, Timothy Ryan Russell.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Uzzell's United Methodist Church Cemetery, Smithfield. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield, and suggest memorial contributions be made to Uzzell's United Methodist Church, Building Fund, c/o Mrs. Vivian Darden, 144 Sykes Court, Smithfield, Va. 23430.
