DEBORAH H. ARCHER

Deborah Ann Hannon Archer, 46, of the 5600 block of Londonderry Court, passedquietly and peacefully into eternal life with the heavenly father Monday, Sept. 22, 1997, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

She was a native of Norfolk and the daughter of Minnie Jones Hannon Whitfield and the late John Hannon Sr. Deborah attended Norfolk Public Schools and had been employed in the housekeeping department at Marion Manor. She was a member of Abyssinia Baptist Church.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by Rayfield Archer Sr.; a daughter, Patrice Archer; two sons, Rayfield Archer Jr. and Jabari Stewart; a sister, Jean Weatherington; three brothers, John Hannon Jr., Richard Hannon and Archie Whitfield. She will also be sadly missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, in Abyssinia Baptist Church, Colley Avenue and 31st Street, by the Rev. Dr. Frank Guns with burial in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Riddick Funeral Service. The body will be placed in church at 11:30 a.m. Monday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday and at other times at 1808 Bellevue Ave., the home of Richard Hannon. ILLUSTRATION: Photo KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
