Edward McNeal Guidry, 69, died Sept. 24, 1997, at a Charleston hospital.
He was born in Crowley, La., and retired from the Navy in Charleston. After the service he also retired as chief of the Hanahan Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, Dora Guidry; three daughters, Barbara Gaye and Michelle Guidry, both of Charleston and Linda Whitfield of Chesapeake; a son, Timothy Guidry; and five grandchildren.
A funeral will be held Saturday at Stuhr Funeral Home in North Charleston, S.C. and burial with follow in Bethany Cemetery. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
