PAUL A. MCNAIR

Paul A. McNair, 31, of the 5100 block of George Washington Hwy. died Sept. 23, 1997, in his home.

Born in Kenitra, Morocco, he was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Chesapeake.

Survivors include his parents, Icelene D. McNair of Portsmouth and Leo McNair of Chesapeake; two sisters, Gale Stateman of Portsmouth and Carmella C. Lofton of Virginia Beach; a brother, Hildrew Leo McNair of Suffolk; maternal grandfather, George L. Murrell of Kinston, N.C.; three nieces; three nephews; two aunts; four uncles; five great-aunts; eight great-uncles; and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in New Hope Baptist Church, Chesapeake by the Rev. Sidney Foster. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at noon Sunday. The body will be taken to the church at noon Monday.
