SHERIDAN O. STENSON

Sheridan Oliver Stenson, 83, of the 4400 block of Clifford St., died Sept. 25, 1997, in his residence.

A native of Boyd, Minn., he was a U.S. Navy veteran, a retired machinist from Norfolk Naval Shipyard, and a Lutheran.

Survivors include his daughter, Helen Lorraine Henderson of Tulsa, Okla.; a son, Terry L. Mowery and his wife, Bonnie, of West Ben, Wis.; a sister, Florence Hoffman of Minnesota; two half-sisters, Joanne Anderson and Carol Echlund; five granddaughters, Lorrie Woodard, Terri Lynn Arnett and husband, Chris, Elizabeth A. Mowery, Jennifer Mowery and Sandy Klug; four grandsons, Dennis W. Henderson, Christopher J. Mowery and his wife, Jennifer, Danny B. Henderson and Chad R. Mowery; five great-grandchildren; and a very, special friend, Benita Evans.

A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Loving Funeral Home Chapel, Churchland, by Dr. Archie Corbin. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Foundation. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
