Carrie L. Davis, 56, of the 600 block of Elm St., formerly a native of Norfolk, died Sept. 24, 1997.
Born in Norfolk, she was a resident of New Haven since 1969. She was a graduate of Norfolk State University.
Survivors include her loving husband, George Davis; a daughter, Cathleen Davis-Edwards; two sisters, Louise Clark of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Margaret Griffin of New Haven; four brothers, Aaron R. Clark of Brooklyn, Carl C. Leach of Lorton, Walter R. Leach of Lakeland, Fla. and William C. Leach of Newark, Del.; and one surviving aunt and uncle, Rev. Jake and Audrey Manley.
A funeral will be conducted Tuesday in Bethel A.M.E. Church, Richmond, Va. Hale Funeral Home, Norfolk, provided information. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
