Police seeking witnesses to death of woman

Police are seeking witnesses to an incident late Thursday in which a 30-year-old woman was killed after falling or jumping from a moving car.

The victim has been identified as Lt. j.g. Jocelyn M. Jayme of Tamuning, Guam. She was on temporary assignment at the Norfolk Naval Air Station.

The incident occurred about 10:30 p.m. in the 6200 block of Northampton Blvd. Police spokesman Larry Hill said Jayme and a man driving the car she was in were apparently quarreling as they were heading east on Northampton. After exiting the vehicle, Jayme was struck by several other vehicles.

Police are attempting to learn the sequence of events after she left the vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at 664-7078 or Crime Line at 664-4040. Police release photos of suspects in 2 slayings

Police released photographs Friday of suspects in two murder cases.

Lewis Wallace Jr., 37, whose last known address was in the 7600 block of Shirland Ave., is wanted for the murder of Vincent Peter Stinson, 32.

Police were sent to Stinson's apartment in the Villas by the Sea in the 3100 block of East Ocean View Ave. on Aug. 22 after residents called police when they became concerned that they had not seen Stinson, an electrician, for several days.

When officers entered Stinson's first-floor residence, they found his body inside. He had been dead for at least several days.

Police did not say what led them to identify Wallace as a suspect.

Wallace is described as black, 6 feet, 2 inches tall, 230 pounds, with a medium brown complexion. He may have a mustache and a goatee with a box fade haircut.

Eric L. Douglas, 23, is wanted for the Sept. 12 murder of Kenneth L. Boone in the 3100 block of Verdun Ave.

Boone, 24, of the 2500 block of Vincent Ave., was a bookkeeper for Boone's Auto.

Douglas, of the 800 block of W. 36th St., was described as black, 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, with short hair. He frequents the Shoop Park and Lafayette Boulevard areas.

Anyone with information on either man is asked to call Crime Line at 664-4040. ILLUSTRATION: Photos Douglas
