ALTHEA B. BAKER

Althea Brackett Baker, 68, passed away in her sleep Sept. 22, 1997, in her residence.

She was a native of Berwick, Maine. She was retired from Norton Lilly International. She had been a resident of Tidewater for the past 20 years.

Survivors include three daughters, Beverly Baker of Washington, D.C., Melody Baker of Atlanta, April Baker Kidd of Lugoff, S.C.; three brothers, Robert Brackett and Wentworth Brackett, both of Berwick, Morton Brackett of Nova Scotia; and granddaughters, Allison and Meredith Kidd.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Berwick. Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Mautner Project, 1707 L. St. NW, Suite 1060, Washington, D.C. 20036, an organization run be her daughter for women living with cancer.
