Liza Thomson Proctor, 74, of the 300 block of W. Brambleton Ave., died Sept. 27, 1997, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Proctor was a native of Raleigh, W.Va., and a resident of Norfolk for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late George and Mary Reid Thomson. She retired in 1988 from Nationsbank after 42 years as executive secretary to the head of the International Department. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Norfolk.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin A. Proctor; two sons, Edgar J. Parry of Portsmouth and George T. Parry of Newport News; and a sister, Annie T. Peyton of St. Albans, W.Va.
A chapel service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, by the Rev. Timothy Roberts. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
