Ella Jones Sears, 90, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 1997, in Britt-haven of the Outer Banks.
Mrs. Sears was born in Grandy and was a homemaker and member of Manteo Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late William B. and Pearl Evans Jones and was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Sears.
Surviving are a sister, Pearl G. Sears of Elizabeth City; and a brother, William H. Jones of Manteo.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Twiford Colony Chapel, by the Rev. Bruce Warrington and Herbert Hemingway. Burial will follow in Manteo Cemetery. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
