KAREN A. MADISON

Karen Alese ``Poochie'' Madison, 54, of the 900 block of Rue Marseille, died Sept. 25, 1997, in her residence.

She was born in Springfield, Mass., and was a schoolteacher at Southwestern Elementary School.

Survivors include a daughter, Lynn A. Madison of Chesapeake; three sisters, Lorraine Foggs of Springfield and Kandace Johnson and Sharon Johnson, both of Seattle; three brothers, Karl Johnson of West Suffield, Conn., Kenneth Johnson of Agawam, Mass., and Kevin Johnson of Springfield; former husband, David A. Madison of Hartford, Mass.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, by Fr. Christian Haydinger. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
