Clara May Brown, 82, of the 4300 block of Portsmouth Blvd., died Monday, Sept. 29, 1997, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Brown was the wife of the late Roy A. Brown Sr., a native of Missouri and a Lutheran. She was a retired telephone supervisor for C & P and Southwestern Bell.
She is survived by her son, Roy A. Brown Jr. of Chesapeake; a sister, Eleanor Jane Jeffries of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and one brother, Gilbert W. Fling of Blue Springs, Mo.
A committal service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Loving Funeral Home Churchland provided the information. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
