WILLIS C. CUTCHIN

Willis Churchill Cutchin, 74, of the 700 block of Braley Pond Road died Saturday, Sept. 27, 1997, in the University of Virginia Medical Center.

Born April 19, 1923, in Portsmouth, he was the son of Robert Lloyd and Frances (Jollett) Cutchin. Prior to retirement, he was employed as a journeyman with Sheet Metal Workers Local 100, Washington, D.C., for 40 years. His wife, Jesse Evelyn (Powers) Cutchin, preceded him in death March 15, 1997.

Surviving are two sons, Willis C. Cutchin Jr. of Barnegate, N.J. and Ernest C. Cutchin of West Augusta; a daughter, Pamela Sue Norton of Virginia Beach; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

A private family graveside service will be held in St. Luke's Church Cemetery, Smithfield, at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Institute for Cancer Research, 1759 R St., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20009, or to a favorite charity. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
