BIBLE SCHOOL OFFERS LOCAL STUDY PROGRAM

Bible school offers local study program

On Oct. 6, Open Door Church will begin its second year as local sponsor for the International College of Bible Theology.

IBT is an interdenominational school with home offices in Sikeston, Mo. The school offers a complete degree program as well as a four-year certificate/diploma program.

According to Tony Peaks, Open Door Church enrolled about 40 students last fall.

This year three fall courses will be offered. ``The purpose of this school is to equip and train Christians so that they will be effective members in the kingdom of God and live a lifetime of fruitful service to Jesus Christ,'' Peaks said.
