NOVELLA V. PARKER

Novella Virginia Parker, 54, of the 900 block of Widgeon Road, died Sept. 28, 1997, in Norfolk General Hospital.

She was a dietitian for Wayne General Hospital, Wayne, N.J., for 26 years before retiring. She was a member of Community Baptist Church of Love, Paterson, N.J.

Survivors include a daughter, Crystal M. Parker of Norfolk; a son, Wilbur C. Parker Jr. of Paterson; parents, Ruth O. Smith and Henry E. Smith Jr., both of Norfolk; three sisters, Osia Evans of Chesapeake, Charlene Livingston of Spring Lake, N.C., Ruth O. Smith of Norfolk; a brother, Rudolph L. Smith of Norfolk; a grandson, Christian Parker; a granddaughter, Felicia Hunter; two brothers-in-law, Jack Evans, Tom Livingston; a sister-in-law, Leora Smith; six nephews and four nieces; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends including special close friends, Richard and Rosetta Fairley. She was predeceased by a brother, Micheal Smith, formerly of Norfolk.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. today in First Baptist Bolling Brook, Norfolk. P.G. Thomasson Funeral Service Inc. is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
