Mary Virginia C. Carr, 71, died Sept. 30, 1997, in her residence.
She was native of Isle of Wight County and a homemaker. She was the widow of Eugene McCawley Carr and daughter of the late George W. Carr and Mary Turner Carr. Mrs. Carr was a member of Colosse Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John McCawley and Brenda Carr of Carrsville; granddaughters, Kimberly D. Carr and Pamela L. Carr; sisters, Hazel C. Daughtrey of Suffolk, Betty Lou C. Presson of Carrsville and Helen C. Holland of Suffolk; brothers, Charlie E. ``Jack'' Carr of Carrsville and John T. Carr of Windsor.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Harrell Funeral Home by the Revs. Steve Bradshaw and Lee Bowers. Burial will be in Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may join the family in Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk, from 7 to 8 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
